Spring: awakening and calm (March–May)

Spring is a beautiful, peaceful time to visit. In March and April temperatures hover around 17–21 °C, the countryside is green and in bloom, and crowds are thin — though the sea is still too cold for swimming and many clubs haven't opened yet. May is the sweet spot: 22–25 °C, the beach starts to beckon, clubs begin their opening nights and prices are still reasonable. Perfect for hiking, exploring villages and enjoying the island without the chaos.

Summer: full throttle (June–September)

From June to September Ibiza is in full swing. June (25–28 °C) and September (26–28 °C) are arguably the best months: warm weather, a warm sea, everything open and slightly less packed than the height of summer. July and August are the absolute peak: 30–34 °C, sea temperatures of 24–26 °C, every club and beach club firing on all cylinders — along with the year's highest prices and biggest crowds. September keeps the warm water and adds some unmissable closing parties.

Autumn and winter: tranquillity (October–February)

October is still lovely (21–24 °C) and is home to the famous closing parties, with the sea still warm; it's a great month for anyone who wants the party vibe without August's madness. From November to February Ibiza shifts into local-island mode: 14–17 °C, more rain, most clubs and beach clubs shut, but total tranquillity, low prices and an authentic side of the island. Ideal for switching off, eating well and wandering through villages — not for beach or nightlife.
